The Skinny, on the Snob

Well I can't comprehend why, but if you just gotta know about the author of this site, here goes.

My name is Jason. Because of my love for coffee, a few years ago I looked into opening a coffee house. During my research, I learned more than any sane person would ever want to know about the steamy beverage.

I wanted to learn as much as I could because I believed that making the absolute best coffee (consistently) was probably the most vital key for the long lasting success of the business.

Well anyway, to make a long story short...I never did open the coffee house. But maybe the knowledge I acquired will be of some use to others. Even if it's just for personal enjoyment.

In case you were wondering, I really do love beverages. It's not just business to me. It all started with coffee, but it didn't take long to spread over into other beverages. I also believe in being passionate. I think passion is what creates progress, increases our standard of living, and just makes people more interesting!

That's why I say the world could use more "snobs".

As I stated on the home page, being a snob is not about thinking you're better than someone else just because you happen to know more about a particular subject. It is simply being passionate about something. It is being able to appreciate and identify quality. It is taking time out of this fast paced, stressful life, to stop and savor anything that can add to your quality of life!

Well in the words of Mr. Gump... that's all I got to say about that.
