of the Month Club
makes a fine gift and I've found a great one from Gourmet
Monthly Clubs. They have flexible terms of payment
and number of months for delivery.
You
can choose between three wine clubs:

- Whites

and White
All
three clubs are great and it's nice to have these options
because many people are red or white lovers only. Each shipment
also contains a monthly newsletter with descriptions of
each wine and some good info on the wineries. There are
even recipes for meals that would nicely accompany the wine.

Below
is a review of the mixed (red and white) International Wine
of the Month Club that I received. The wines that you receive
will most likely be different, but this will give you a
good idea of what to expect.

Nice,
safe packaging and very well presented I thought.
The
Wines
For
this wine club review, I started out reviewing each wine
in this selection, but because you may not receive the same,
I decided to take a different approach.
Each
wine represented a nice and diverse selection. This is great
for being able to explore new varietals and to try wines
you may have never tried otherwise.
I
very much enjoy trying new wines and a wine of the month
club is a great way to do it. When selecting wines on my
own, I find myself trying way too many of my favorite varietals.
This doesn't give me the wide range of flavors that makes
me appreciate wine so much.
I
was impressed with the way the newsletter educated me on
each of the wines and its winery and with the overall quality
of each selection.
The
recipes were also a nice touch although I'm not sure those
will be included in every newsletter.
The
selections are rare but don't worry about finding a wine
that you love and not being to get it again as they have
a means of reordering the specific wines at a discount.
In
Conclusion
I
highly recommend this wine
of the month club and feel it would make a wonderful
gift for those who are interested in expanding their palette
or those who already love the many varietals of wine.
It
also makes a great gift to yourself!
